A total of 168 people applied for patient injury compensation due to the side effects of the corona vaccine.

Since the vaccination against the coronavirus started, the Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation (NPE) has received 168 compensation claims in Norway, the newspaper Adresseavisenwrites.

So far, only three people have had their compensation claims approved.

A total of 159 cases are still being processed, while six have been rejected or dropped.

The three cases that were upheld and the six rejected cases concerned the AstraZeneca vaccine, which was removed from the Norwegian vaccination program in May after several reports of blood clots.

A total of 138,300 Norwegians were vaccinated with AstraZeneca’s corona vaccine.
