SAS has to cancel 16 flights on Thursday due to staff shortages. Twelve of them were to go abroad, according to VG’s overview.
A total of 21 flights are to be canceled on Thursday – 16 from SAS and five from Widerøe, VG’s overview shows.
Twelve of SAS ‘canceled flights were to go to or depart from another country.
According to SAS, the cancellations are primarily due to a shortage of employees after the corona pandemic.
“In addition, we have received a number of sick notices. This means that we do not have the opportunity to carry out the flights,” press officer Tina Szczyrbak in SAS told Børsen on Wednesday night.
