Every fourth first- and second-generation immigrant young person is skeptical of homosexuality, research shows.

The countries the young people, or families, come from are a crucial factor when it comes to their view of homosexuality. FAFO researcher Erika Braanen Sterri examined the issue in a new study.

In the study, a quarter of Norwegian youth with parents from the Middle East, West Asia, and Africa agreed with the statement “Homosexuality is never acceptable.” The young people who participated in the survey were aged 16-17, the newspaper Vårt Land writes.

“Young people with parents from countries outside Western Europe have on average less tolerant attitudes towards homosexuality than young people from Western Europe,” Braanen Sterri told the newspaper.

The lowest acceptance of homosexuality is found among young people with parents from the Middle East and Africa, followed by young people with a family background from the Balkans.

The countries where young people have the lowest acceptance of homosexuality are Pakistan, Turkey, Morocco, Iraq, and Iran.

  1. This has entirely to do with religion, nothing else.

There are many who choose to believe in their indoctrinated SciFi stories – instead of thinking clearly.

Let the cults remain where they came from, and leave critical thinking people alone.
