The number of influenza cases in Norway has increased in recent weeks, but is still at a low level.

After standing still in early January, the number of outbreaks has had a slight increase over the past three weeks, according to the latest weekly report from the Institute of Public Health (FHI).

In week 6, 1.4 per cent of those who went to the doctor in Norway were diagnosed with flu-like illness. This is considered low level.

The number and proportion of influenza-positive laboratory tests has risen over the past three weeks and is at medium level. There may be a further increase in the number of infected people.
