A bus was blown off the road in Hadsel Municipality in Nordland on Sunday, but no one was seriously injured. Police warn drivers of difficult driving conditions.

The bus is in a ditch on the E10 by Myrland, according to the Nordland Police District. No injuries were reported.

“We have been in contact with the driver. Wind gusts that blown the bus off the road. A total of 22 passengers are on board. Two passengers say they have head/neck pain,” the operations center reports.

“The bus is on its side, so the doors can not be opened,” the police added.

The driving conditions in Norland are challenging. The E10 Bjørnfjell is closed, and there is also column driving on the E6 over Saltfjellet.

The police in Nordland encourage everyone to be careful. A danger warning has been issued for strong winds for Helgeland, Saltfjellet, Salten, Ofoten, and Troms.

  1. Were the injured wearing seatbelts?

If the doors were blocked, how did they get the passengers out? Did they break the windows?
Could a fire have broken out?
