A 50 year old man from North Troms is charged with aggravated assault after he bit the tip of another man’s nose and struck him repeatedly in the face.
The incident occurred at Nordreisa in Troms in the early hours of Sunday the 6th of December, the man claimed in the indictment that he struck the other man several times in the face and bit his nose, wrote Nordlys. The bite has led to the tip of his nose and right side of his nose coming loose having to be sewn back on.
The victim was on sick leave for 14 days after the event. Furthermore, it is assumed that the nose appearance will not be normal again, even with surgical intervention, according to the indictment.
The trial of 50-year-old is scheduled in Nord-Troms District Court on January 4th next year.
