US bombers trained with Norwegian fighter jets over northern Norway, the US embassy in Norway revealed.
On Wednesday, three American B52 bombers trained together with Norwegian F-16 aircraft over the Barents Sea and the Arctic Circle.
They also trained together on October 30th, when in the airspace west of Troms.
For nearly a month, US forces have been holding exercises with other NATO countries and allies in Europe.
“These exercises are essential to secure NATO’s readiness by improving the interoperability of US forces and our allies,” said a statement from the US Embassy in Norway.
