A record number of people visited Kistefos this summer

More than 100,000 people have visited Kistefos Museum in Jevnaker this summer. That is twice as many than the whole of last year in total. 

-”Like everyone else, we were very excited about how Corona and the Norwegian holidays turned out with us., but so far it has exceeded all expectations.”, said the Director of the Museum, Brigitte Espeland. 

The Museum has at times struggled to offer enough parking spaces to all visitors, and has had to expand it three times. 

Last year, the number of visitors ended at 48,000, of which half of the visitors came after the gallery building “the twist” opened in September.
