Socialist Left Party (SV) leader Audun Lysbakken says that Kim Friele made Norway a better society.
“The whole of Norway owes Kim Friele a big thank you,” Lysbakken noted.

“Her enormous courage has helped fight injustice and prejudice decade after decade,” Lysbakken commented to NTB.
She fought for freedom and equality – and won, said Lysbakken. He will remember Friele with deep respect and gratitude.
“Thanks to the efforts of Friele and other pioneers, new generations have the freedom to be themselves and love whoever they want, which was unthinkable not so long ago,” he stated.
