Crown Prince couple to “Kongens nei (The King’s Choice)” in Toronto
While the rest of the world are eagerly awaiting the results of the US election the Crown Prince couple arrived at the screening of “The King’s Choice” in Toronto on Tuesday night local time.
Crown Princess Mette Marit and Crown Prince Haakon are currently on an official visit to Canada, where they have attended a variety of events.
To promote the Norwegian Oscar candidate “The King’s Choice” there was a special screening in Toronto.
– It’s quite special that the film has its international premiere here in Toronto.
It was here that the Norwegian government while in exile during World War II, trained pilots and built up Little Norway.
We have a very special bond with Canada, says Economics Minister Monica Mæland in a statement.
