Experience Norwegian “slow television” in the making on 15 and 16 June.

The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) has received worldwide attention for its popularisation of the concept slow television: a marathon television coverage of an ordinary event in its complete length. The events covered by NRK’s “minute-by-minute” series include the routes of several iconic ships and trains, the singing of every song in the Norwegian hymn book, and a national knitting evening.

On Friday 15 and Saturday 16 June, the turn has come to the complete works of Edvard Grieg. More than 600 musicians join forces for a marathon music performance in Bergen and Oslo. And you can be part of the event! READ MORE about Edvard Grieg minute-by-minute
