Erna Solberg is writing a new book that will be published next year. The book will, among other things, address how to get more people into the workforce.

“It is good that we are getting older, but it will be challenging because an ever smaller proportion of people in Norway will be of working age. It is a pension-related challenge, but it is not about money. Money is the smallest problem Norway has,” Solberg (H) told the newspaper VG.

She believes that Norway should provide support to people who want to work and that companies must sharpen up and be more positive toward 50-60-year-olds.

Besides, Norwegians are retired for far too long, she added.

This will be Solberg’s second book. In 2011, she published the book “People, not Billions.”
