Huseby becomes the new Secretary General of the Seamen’s Church
Jeffrey Huseby (61) becomes the new secretary general at the Seamen’s Church. He comes from the position of secretary general of the Norwegian Missionary Society.
Jeffrey Huseby takes over as Secretary General of the Seamen’s Church after Ørnulf Steen, who will retire when he turns 70, this summer.
Huseby is a trained priest and has over 20 years of experience as a leader. He has also previously worked at the Seamen’s Church. Between 1996 and 2000, Huseby was a sailor priest and general manager at the Seamen’s Church in Dubai.
Huseby joins the Seamen’s Church on March 1, 2020.
