Crown Princess Mette-Marit opens a Munch exhibition curated by Karl Ove Knausgård in Germany.
On Friday night, the Crown Princess opens the art exhibition about Edvard Munch in Düsseldorf, “Edvard Munch seen by Karl Ove Knausgård.” The exhibition has been put together by author Karl Ove Knausgård.
The exhibition is on display at the K20 – Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen and is a collaboration with the Munch Museum.
German tourists make up the largest proportion of visitors to the Munch Museum, and the interest in Edvard Munch and his art in Germany is enormous, according to the museum itself.
The exhibition consists of 140 works that have rarely or never been exhibited in Germany.
