His Majesty The King’s Guard of Norway

His Majesty The King’s Guard of Norway Drill Team have been awarded a special honour for The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2016 this year.

The Drill Team were voted for to receive the Pooley Sword (a ceremonial broadsword donated by Swordmaker Robert Pooley) by their fellow performers of the Tattoo for their outstanding contribution to the show this year.

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo ran from 5th to 27th August at Edinburgh Castle.
