This year’s Nobel Prize winners will not be present in Stockholm during the ceremony but will receive the prizes in their home countries, the Nobel Foundation stated.

From October 4 to 11, the 2021 Nobel Prize winners will be announced.

“Every year, there are prize winners from different continents.

“This year, due to the uncertainty surrounding the development of the pandemic and international travel, 2021’s prize winners will receive awards in their home countries,” said Vidar Helgesen, director of the Nobel Foundation, in a press release.

After the initial announcements, there will be Nobel Prize celebrations in Stockholm and Oslo. They’ll take place from December 6 to 12 as a mixture of digital and physical events.
