Welcome to Norsk Folkemuseum’s annual Christmas Fair the two first weekends in December!

    with Norwegian Christmas traditions, market place, traditional foods, exhibits, concerts, theater, family entertainment – and Santa Claus!

  • Christmas decorated homes

    show the holiday celebration according to old local traditions.

  • Poni rides

    for children.

  • Santa’s Workshop

    where you can make a Chirstmas gift and write your own wishing list.

  • Horse-and-carriage tours

    through the museum grounds.

  • Visit the farm animals

    in the barn in Trøndelag.

  • The Museum Store

    – a large assortment of gift items.

  • The Candle factory, Potters, Silversmiths and Weavers

    sell their own handmade products in The Old town.
