Norway takes bronze in Bocuse D’or European championships

Norwegian Chef Filip August Bendi has won Norway a bronze medal at the prestigious Bocuse D’or championship in Budapest, Hungary.

Norway will compete in the Bocuse D’or Lyon against the world

The European part of the prestigious Bocuse D’or has taken place in Budapest and seen Denmark win. Norway, represented by Chef Filip August Bendi, took bronze whilst Hungary came second. 17 candidates tested their cooking skills to compete for ten places at the world final of the Bocuse D’or in Lyon next January.

Norway’s entry was headed by chef Filip August Bendi from Sandnes. Helping Bendi was 20 year Leon Haarberg Nilsen, a ‘commis’ (a young cooking talent) Christopher W. Davidsen was the team coach whilst Sven Erik Renaa is the president of the team whilst Bent Stiansen was Norway’s judge for the competition.
