Due to a camera error, NRK demanded that KEiiNO make a new performance during the important jury test on Friday night, but the complaint has been rejected.

‘’We were immediately told that the error would not have any consequences for the winding up of the jury decision. Therefore, NRK has chosen to submit a formal complaint said press contact, Andreas Blaauw-Hval.

The complaint was a request that Norway’s performance be restarted. However, the complaint was rejected by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

‘’We are, of course, very disappointed with the decision and hope it will not adversely affect the jury’’ said Stig Karlsen, NRK’s delegation head.

According to NRK, the screen blacked out twice in a short time, and when the picture came back again, the camera operator was visible in an image.

The heat, which was held late Friday night, forms the basis for the expert jury’s assessment and thus half of the result so is very important.

The silver lining observed one spectator, who did not wish to be named, is that whatever now happens, Norway will be able to legitimately claim, ‘We were robbed!”
