When the latest James Bond movie premiered on October 1, it wasn’t just international stars like Daniel Craig who appeared on the big screen… So did the popular Norwegian children’s TV character Fantorangen.

The new James Bond film No Time To Die was originally scheduled to premiere in 2019. But due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the premiere was first postponed until April 3, 2020, before being pushed back even further.

On October 1, 2021, Daniel Craig was finally back on the big screen as the infamous 007 agent.

But the British actor shared the stage with another star: Norway’s own Fantorangen, according to VG. In a scene filmed in Nittedal, Norway, the children’s TV character appears on a TV screen.

“It’s very fun. It is absurd that it is in James Bond, of all films, one of the world’s most-watched films,” said Berit Nermoen, one of the creators of Fantorangen.
