Both Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Queen Sonja participated in the unveiling of new sculptures in the Princess’s sculpture park at the Palace Park.
Several children who had made sculptures for the park were present on Tuesday. The queen and princess handed out presents to the children and got to see the new sculptures.
The sculpture park is part of the Castle Park and contains sculptures by and for children.
Children in 5th and 6th grade across the country can compete to have their ideas made for sculptures for the park. The winning proposals have been put into production by professional craft companies.
The park opened on May 19, 2016 and was a gift to the princess from DNB.
