Queen Sonja cast gloss over the opening of the Bergen International Festival
Queen Sonja casts luster over the opening of the Bergen International Festival.
Queen Sonja was present when the Bergen International Festival was opened at the City Square on Wednesday.
The Festival, which lasts for 15 days , was opened by Prime Minister Erna Solberg and Marte Mjøs Persen , the Bergen Mayor. Afterwards, the audience got some artistic samples from the program with music and theatre, opera, dance and exhibitions, with offereings to both children and adults.
After the opening ceremony, Queen Sonja went to Håkonshallen where she attended the Bergen municipality’s traditional lunch on the occasion of the Festival opening
