People crowded both the land and the fjord for Red Bull’s World Series in rock diving – which was hosted on the Oslo Opera House‘s rooftop.
On Saturday afternoon, World Series cliff divers jumped from a specially built platform 27 meters above the fjord’s surface.
For around three seconds, the divers were in free fall. Before reaching the water, they reached speeds of up to 85 kilometers per hour.
Several thousand people turned up to watch from land. In addition, many took boats and kayaks to Bjørvika to witness the event from the water.
