Prince Sverre Magnus will, On Saturday, the 5th of September be confirmed at Asker Church.
He has followed the confirmation teachings at Asker Church, informs the Royal Family in a press release.
After the confirmation a smaller private dinner is planned at Skaugum,
The princes’ sponsors are in addition to Queen Sonja, who carried him to be baptized, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, Crowned Prince Pavlos of Greece, Rosario Nadal, Espen Høiby, Bjørn Andersen-Steinsland, and Marianne Gjellestad.
Princess Ingrid Alexandra was confirmed in August of last year at Slottskapellet. She also followed the confirmation teachings of Asker Church.
Prince Sverre Magnus is number three in the line of succession in the Royal Family, just after Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Crowned Prince Haakon, who is first in line.
Parish priest Karoline Astrup of Asker Kirke said to Budstikka that the years confirmation teachings has been affected by the Corona pandemic and the measures that followed.
Together with about 90 others, the Prince has, among other things, been on a “stay at home” camp and on an overnight trip to the countryside.
