The tomato festival in Finnøy
The tomato festival in Finnøy, 2018 edition
The Tomato Festival is a tradition of the cultural life in Finnøy. The idyllic Finnøy Island is situated a hop and a skip away from Stavanger by ferry or via the Rennesøy tunnel by car.
Tomatoes are an integral part of Finnøy’s economy. Naturally, they deserve their own festival!
Around 4,000 persons visit the festival each year.
The festival is aimed at the whole family with the focus on tomatoes, other food and agriculture.
If you come, you will experience a lovely day on the island and of course, you will be able to taste lots of great food from one or more of the several food stalls.
This year’s special guest is the legendary biathlete Ole Einar Bjørndalen.
The Festival is held over four days, starting on August 14th, 2018.
