13 years in prison for killing his wife in Hemsedal

The 45 Years old Iraqi, who in December 2014 killed his wife in Hemsedal and put her in the freezer has been sentenced to 13 years in prison by the Hallingdal district court.

Hanan Majid Mohammed, who was also his cousin, was 34 years old when she was killed in the couple’s apartment in Ulsåk in Hemsedal on the 9. of December 2014.  She wanted to get  divorced and that cost her her life. After an overall assessment of all the circumstances of the killing, the court determined the punishment to be imprisonment for 13 years, says the verdict from Hallingdal District Court. The verdict is unanimous, NRK reported.
