A 17-year-old is charged with repeated cases of rape against a girl under the age of five.
According to Gudbrandsdølen Dagningen, the accused was 15 years old the first time the act took place, and the offended party was under five years old.
The public prosecutor classifies the act as rape, and defines it as gross because of the girl’s age when the assault took place, and because it happened repeatedly.
The abuses took place between August 2018 and May 2019.
The 17-year-old is charged with violating section 301 of the Criminal Code for raping children under 14 years of age. His young age will have an impact on the verdict.
The case comes up in Nord-Gudbrandsdal District Court on October 8, and two days have been set aside for the case processing.
