1,700 have signed up to assist the health services
1,700 approved health professionals, who do not currently work in the health service, have signed up to assist the during the Coronavirus epidemic.
“It is wonderful to know that we can draw on these if we want to,” said Acting Assistant Director of the Directorate of Health, Espen Nakstad, at the government’s daily press conference on Friday.
Of the total 1,700: 500 are nurses, 350 doctors, 100 bioengineers, as well as psychologists, physiotherapists, dentists and others.
The people have registered through the national health website personnel.no
