18 year-old reported to police after knife attack in Oslo

A man charged with attempted murder after the knife attack at Blå in Oslo this weekend, was taken to Politihuset in Oslo on Monday night.

 

The man was with his defence lawyer.He sat under questioning on Monday night and is being sentenced to custody on Tuesday said police attorney,Sturla Henriksbø of Oslo police district on Tuesday.

On Saturday night, two men in their 20’s were severely injured in the knife attack at the venue. The police have been looking for the perpetrator since Sunday.

The condition of the two victims, who were seriously injured, was stable on Sunday afternoon reported the police.

“We are now looking for a named perpetrator, who we have said is guilty of attempted murder” said Police Inspector, Grete Lien Metlid, of Oslo police district to NTB news on Sunday.

Metlid describes the three men as being known to police.The attack was not targeted at random persons. According to Dagbladet newspaper, there may have been an organised Attempt on the men’s lives. TV 2 reported that they are affiliated with the ‘Young Bloods’ gang.

The police were notified of the stabbing in the 02.30 on Saturday night.According to the witnesses at Blå,an altercation took place before two people bleeding from
the upper body emerged.
