19-year-old man admits to killing Sofie Vo Nguyen in Bergen
The 19-year-old man accused of killing 20-year-old Sofie Vo Nguyen in Bergen has admitted to the murder in interrogation.
The 20-year-old Nguyen was found dead in the apartment she rented in Åsane in Bergen in September this year.
Her 19-year-old roommate has been arrested and charged with killing her.
A ruling from Bergen District Court states that he has confessed to the murder, according to newspaper Bergensavisen.
Hospitalized
The 19-year-old has been hospitalized at Sandviken Hospital for several weeks but has now been transferred to Bergen prison.
The accused was imprisoned until December 21, with a visit and communication ban.
Two experts have carried out a full judicial observation of the 19-year-old. They have been tasked with evaluating his sanity by January.
