About 200 protesters met in front of Parliament in Oslo on Thursday evening to mark their opposition to the so-called conversion therapy.

The Labor Party and the Green Party have proposed to ban so-called conversion therapy, that is, therapy that aims to “convert” gays into heterosexuals.

Police estimate that there were about 200 people who showed up at Eidsvollsplassen in front of Parliament this afternoon.

The demonstration was organized by the organization FRI.

Program director Morten Hegseth Riiber and Ap politician Anette Trettebergstuen were among the appellants.
