In the last 24 hours, 23 new coronavirus cases have been registered in Trondheim Municipality. That is seven more than the day before.

Of the infected, ten are women and 13 men. Twelve people have been infected by known close contacts, five have been infected abroad, three have been infected in another municipality, while three have an unsure route of infection, the Municipality stated in a press release.

“We are not talking about an outbreak,” communications manager Harry Tiller in Trondheim Municipality told the newspaper Adresseavisen.

He added that this is the new everyday life that people have to get used to.

“The numbers will go up and down a bit. It is mostly the same picture as before, and it is mainly infection through close contacts and people who have been abroad,” he noted.
