32 new Coronavirus infection cases in the last 24 hours

32 new cases of Coronavirus infections have been registered in Norway at midnight Thursday, preliminary figures from the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) show.

The increase is somewhat smaller than in recent days. On Wednesday, the number of infections increased by 67 new cases and on Tuesday by 49 new cases. The figures are taken from the Communicable Diseases Notification System (MSIS).

A total of 9,783 Norwegians have tested positive for the Coronavirus. About 95 percent have recovered and are healthy, according to FHI.

A total of 15 people were hospitalized as of Thursday with Coronavirus. That is as many as on Wednesday, figures from the Norwegian Directorate of Health show. Of the 15 who are admitted, 2 patients are on respirators.

NIPH has registered 256 corona related deaths in this country.
