35 new cases of Coronavirus have been registered in Norway at midnight Friday, preliminary figures from the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) show.

That is a decrease of 16 from the day before. Since Monday, 232 new cases of infection have been registered.

The figures are taken from the Notification System for Infectious Diseases (MSIS) and show a preliminary overview.

A total of 10,197 people have been tested positive with the Coronavirus since February. About 95 percent have recovered and are healthy, according to FHI.

A total of 11 people are currently hospitalized as of Thursday with the Coronavirus. It is the same number of patients as the day before, figures from the Norwegian Directorate of Health show. None of the patients receive treatment in a respirator.

FHI has registered 264 corona-related deaths in this country.
