40 new Coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours

40 new cases of the Coronavirus have been registered in Norway in the last 24 hours. A total of 10,582 people have now been diagnosed with Coronavirus infection in Norway.

The increase on Friday is at the same level as the day before when 38 new cases of infection were registered. Shows preliminary figures from the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) at midnight Saturday night.

A total of 10,582 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus since February. About 95 percent have recovered and are healthy, according to FHI.

A total of 16 people are being treated in hospitals for Covid-19 disease. FHI has registered 264 corona related deaths in this country.
