437 repatriated from Norway in October

437 people were transported from Norway by the Police Immigration Unit (PU) in October. This is a decline of 7% compared with the same month last year.

 

13 of the 437 were minors, PU stated. 153 of the 437 were involved in one or more criminal proceedings by the Norwegian judiciary.

So far this year, the police have carried out 4,292 repatriations.

Of those this year,3,406 have been expelled,476 have been refused asylum, while 410 of them have been sent to another safe third country.

Distributed by nationality, 264 of the 4,292 people are from Poland, 247 from Romania, 255 from Russia, and 239 people from Albania. From Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria,199,183 and 137 consecutively were expelled so far this year.
