4,935 registered Coronavirus cases in Norway – up 280

At midnight, 4,935 cases of Covid-19 infection were registered in Norway, preliminary figures from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health show.

This is an increase of 280 cases within the last day. In the last two days it has increased by 490 cases.

The figures are taken from the Communicable Diseases Notification System (MSIS) and show a preliminary overview.

A total of 325 people are receiving treatment at a hospital for Covid-19 infection. 105 people are receiving intensive respiratory therapy, eight more than the day before.

On Wednesday, it has been registered 44 deaths as a result of the Coronavirus.
