In the last 24 hours, 52 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Drammen. That is 15 more than the day before.
The route of infection is unknown for seven of the cases, the Municipality wrote in a press release.
In the last two weeks, the infection has increased in Drammen.
“We have probably not seen the top of this infection curve yet. The infection pressure in the Municipality is too high.
“But the fact that the infection rates do not rise further tells us that extensive testing and community measures work,” municipal chief physician John David Johannessen noted.
