Swedish Värmland became “red” Friday evening, but several Norwegians still traveled to shop on Saturday morning. A 10-day-quarantine awaits when they get back.

-”Between 8am and 2pm on Saturday, a total of 53 people were placed in quarantine as a result of crossing the border.”, said acting Section Manager, Kjersti Bråthen, of the Border Control Section Kongsvinger to Romerikes Blad.

According to Bråthen, many of those who travelled are families with children that went on a shopping trip to Charlottenberg.

-”Some explained that they misunderstood the implementation period for the changing of regulations, while others traveled knowing that they expose themselves and others to the risk of infection.”, she continued.

At Töcksfors, the Customs Service states that there have been very few border crossings.
