67 new cases of Coronavirus infections have been registered in Norway at midnight Wednesday, preliminary figures from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH) show.
The increase is somewhat larger than it has been in recent days. On Tuesday, the number of infections increased by 49 new cases and on Monday by 39 new cases. The figures are taken from the Communicable Diseases Notification System (MSIS).
A total of 9,751 Norwegians have tested positive for the Coronavirus. About 95 percent, have recovered and are healthy, according to FHI.
A total of 15 people were hospitalized on Monday with Coronavirus. That is one less than on Tuesday, figures from the Norwegian Directorate of Health show. Of the 15 who are admitted, 2 patients are on respirators. The figures will not be updated over the weekend.
NIPH has registered 256 Coronavirus related deaths in this country.
