68 foreign nationals arrested
The Eastern Police District reports that the Immigration Unit has arrested 68 foreign nationals for violations of the Immigration Act.
The arrests were made in connection with a routine check at old Stensby hospital in Eidsvoll. Where there are 68 people from Kazakhstan.
Police say they will provide more information, later Thursday morning.
Operations manager Ronny Årstein of the Eastern Police District informed Dagbladet around 22:40, Wednesday night, that the police action was still ongoing.
“It is still going on and they have been arrested this evening,” he says.
