75 new confirmed Coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours

At midnight Monday, there were 12,154 Coronavirus infected people registered in this country, preliminary figures show. This is an increase of 75 cases in the last 24 hours.

The increase is at the same level as the day before when 76 new cases were registered. In total, the increase in the last two days is 150 reported cases, according to figures from the National Reporting System for Infectious Diseases (MSIS).

Nearly 900,000 have so far been tested for the Coronavirus in Norway. In recent weeks, more than 80,000 new people have been tested per week. The infection pressure in Norway has increased recently and there are now 23.9 infected per 100,000 inhabitants.

A total of 16 people are receiving treatment at a hospital for Covid-19 disease on Friday. FHI has registered 265 Coronavirus related deaths in this country since March.

According to FHI, it is not always possible to determine whether the Coronavirus infected have died of or with Covid-19.
