81-year-old sentenced to 13 years in prison for killing his wife
A 81 years old man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison by Borgarting crown court for having shot and killed his wife in Sarpsborg last year.
The man was accused of having shot his 72 year old wife with a rifle while she was lying in bed on March 17 last year. He testified that it did not intend to hit his wife when he took out and fired his weapon after they had quarreled.
The sentence is the same as it was when Sarpsborg District Court heard the case earlier this year.
