9,150 registered Coronavirus cases in Norway – 18 more in the past 24 hours

9,150 cases of the Coronavirus infection were registered in Norway at midnight on Wednesday night, preliminary figures from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health show.

This is an increase of 18 cases in the last 24 hours. In the last two days, the number has increased by 33 cases.

The figures are taken from the Notification System for Infectious Diseases (MSIS) and show a preliminary overview.

On Tuesday, five Coronavirus infected patients were admitted to Norwegian hospitals, two fewer than on Monday. One person is beig treated by respirator.

A total of 255 Coronavirus infected people in Norway have died, but no new deaths have been reported in this country since Friday 17 July.
