9,362 registered Coronavirus cases in Norway – the trend is increasing

9,362 cases of Coronavirus infection were registered in Norway at midnight Wednesday,  according to FHI. The trend is increasing for the first time since April, writes VG.

The number of infections is increased by 28 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the preliminary figures obtained from the Notification System for Infectious Diseases (MSIS). In the past two days, the increase is by 94 cases.

VG’s calculations show that the trend is rising for the first time since the 3rd of April, and it has been flat since 14 May.

Twelve Coronavirus infected patients were admitted to Norwegian hospitals on Tuesday, two fewer than on Monday. One patient is receiving respiratory treatment, figures from the Norwegian Directorate of Health show.

NIPH has registered 256 corona related deaths in this country.
