9,409 registered Coronavirus cases in Norway – 47 new in the last 24 hours

9,409 cases of Coronavirus infection were registered in Norway at midnight Thursday, preliminary figures from the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) show.

This represents an increase of 47 cases in the last 24 hours. In the last two days, the increase is by 75 cases. The figures are taken from the Communicable Diseases Notification System (MSIS).

Eleven Coronavirus-infected patients were admitted to Norwegian hospitals on Wednesday. This is one less than Tuesday. One patient is receiving respiratory treatment, figures from the Norwegian Directorate of Health show.

NIPH has registered 256 Coronavirus-related deaths in this country.
