9,468 registered Coronavirus cases in Norway – 59 new last 24 hours

9,468 cases of Coronavirus infection were registered in Norway at midnight on Friday, preliminary figures from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH) show.

This represents an increase of 59 cases in the last 24 hours. In the last two days, the increase is by 106 cases.

The figures are taken from the Communicable Diseases Notification System (MSIS).

On Thursday, 14 people who are positive with the Coronavirus were hospitalized in Norway. That is three more than Wednesday. Two are being treated with ventilators, according to updated figures from the Norwegian Directorate of Health.

The National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) has registered 256 Coronavirus-related deaths in this country.
