9,599 registered Coronavirus cases in Norway – 48 new in the last 24 hours

9,599 cases of Coronavirus infection were registered in Norway at midnight to Sunday, preliminary figures from the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) show.

This is an increase of 48 cases in the last 24 hours. In the last two days, the increase has been by 131 cases.

The figures are taken from the Communicable Diseases Notification System (MSIS).

On Friday, 15 people were hospitalized with Coronavirus. That is one more than Thursday, figures from the Norwegian Directorate of Health show. Of the 15 who are admitted, two patients are on a respirators. These figures will not be updated during the weekend.

FHI has registered 256 corona-related deaths in this country.
