9,851 registered Coronavirus cases in Norway – an increase of 68

At midnight, 9,851 cases of Coronavirus infection were registered in Norway, according to preliminary figures from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.

This is an increase of 68 cases in the last 24 hours. In the last two days, the increase is by 100 cases.

The increase is thus twice as large as on Thursday, when 32 new people were reported infected. On Wednesday, the number of infections increased by 67 and on Tuesday by 49 new cases.

The figures are taken from the Notification System for Infectious Diseases (MSIS) and show a preliminary overview.

A total of twelve people are being treated in hospital for Covid-19 disease. FHI has registered 257 corona-related deaths in this country.
