51% of those who were laid off or lost their jobs during the pandemic are dissatisfied with the Støre government’s handling of the corona pandemic, according to a new TV 2 survey.

TV 2 surveyed a sample consisting of Norwegians who have lost their jobs or were laid off as a result of the corona measures.

1,138 Norwegians participated in the survey. Among them, 17% answered that the Norwegian authorities as a whole had handled the corona crisis poorly or very poorly during the pandemic.

Only 4% of respondents answered that they think the Støre government has handled the corona crisis very well.

Minister of Health and Care Services Ingvild Kjerkol (AP) told the channel that the government would work to curb dissatisfaction, among other things, through measures and packages they have prepared.

“With that, we can try to create as much predictability as possible if a new infection situation should arise so that the affected industries know which rules apply,” she said.
